Manitoba COVID Seroprevalence Study
The objectives of this study are:
* To measure the seroprevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in the general population in Manitoba by sex, age and regional health authority (RHA) (sub-analysis).
* To determine risk factors for infection by age, gender and region.
* To improve the estimates of infection fatality ratio.

A repeated investigation is conducted over 14 months on convenience samples collected: April/May 2020, September 2020, October 2020, January 2021, February 2021, April 2021, May2021, June 2021, July 2021, October 2021, November 2021, December 2021, January 2022 and February 2022.

Two-hundred specimens from each of the 5 age categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60+) and proportionately taken from the 6 regional health authorities (WRHA, PMH, IERHA, SRHA, NRHA, UNK) were assessed.

The population is composed of individuals who have specimens collected for routine sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBI), prenatal, and other routine serological testing at Cadham Provincial Laboratory.
