Sector of research
| Possible Access to Data | Possible Access to Biosamples | |
| Investigators from the public sector | ||
| Investigators from the private sector | ||
| Investigators from not-for-profit organization |
The research proposed must be presented by an academic investigator. Private research groups will require an academic principal investigator be associated with the project.
Transfer
| Possible Access to Data | Possible Access to Biosamples | |
| Can leave the study facility | ||
| Can leave the country |
a Material/Data Transfer Agreement (MDTA) is required prior to releasing the material/data. This document defines the way that the data will be used, who will have access to the data, how the data will be stored, and stipulates that researchers will not attempt to determine the identity of any participants] (e.g. anonymization, encryption, double coding, etc.
Cost
| Possible Access to Data | Variable Cost |
| Possible Access to Biosamples | Variable Cost |
The CPPQ will provide cost-free access to renewable data (clinical, cognitive, lifestyle, neuroimaging, and results of biological analyses including genetics, transcriptomics, etc.) for academic research groups. Research groups from industry will need to pay for access to this renewable data. In contrast, a fee will be associated with access to nonrenewable biological material for research groups from both academic and industry. The CPPQ will specify the cost to the research teams from both academia and industry when approving access to material/data from the CPPQ. All fees for academic researchers will be based on cost recovery and will not derive profit for the CPPQ.
Cost reduction for co-analyses
| Possible Access to Data | |
| Possible Access to Biosamples |
Depend on the context, would be assessed by the Access committee.
