Cellular Immunity and Seroprevalence of Antibodies against SARS-CoV-2: Characterisation of Three Populations of Food Workers
The main objective of this project is to determine the immune response against SARS-CoV-2 in 3 worker populations using a group of hardware workers as a comparator.
Specifically, this study will serve to:
* Determine the seroprevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 by different techniques;
* Measure the incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection at 12 and 24 weeks;
* Compare the different serological techniques used in this study;
* Measure the innate response at time 0 and 24 weeks;
* Measure the acquired cellular response at time 0 and 24 weeks;
* Define the demographic characteristics of these populations;
* Describe the protective measures used at work;
* Determine the risk factors associated with severe COVID case in this population;
* Establish correlations between risk factors and SARS-CoV-2 infection;
* Establish correlations between the different arms of the immune system;
* Validate two new serological tests; and
* Explore the immune response to the vaccine in vaccinated participants.
