Canadian Blood Service: SARS-CoV-2 Seroprevalence Study
The main objectives of the study are to:
* monitor SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence on a monthly basis,
* compare seroprevalence by demographic and geographic variables, and
* monitor vaccine uptake.

At phase I participants were seen from May 9, 2020 until July 21, 2020. As of August 2020, only samples from the last 2 weeks of each month are tested. As of December 2020, all samples are sampled once again. Additional phases of testing are anticipated.

CBS population
The population consists of apparently healthy blood donors from across Canada in all larger cities and most urban areas, who are at least 17 years of age.

Participants were regular blood donors from a combination of fixed and mobile sites in all larger cities and most urban areas. This project uses retention samples from blood donations that would normally be discarded.
