- General Information on Follow Up (profile, frequency)
-
Frequency of follow-up is at the discretion of the neurologist and varied over time for each individual. Yearly clinic visits were common but patients could be seen more or less frequently, as needed.
- Recruitment Target
-
- Individuals
- Number of Participants
- 10,000
- Supplementary information about number of participants
-
Approximately 80% of people living with multiple sclerosis in British Columbia during the study period are included in this sample.
- Supplementary Information
-
Data is extracted prospectively from a collated clinical database and extensive chart reviews were performed to create the BCMS historical database, suitable for research purposes.
