The ATTICA Study
The objectives of the ATTICA study are:
(a) to record the distribution of several bio-clinical CVD risk factors, in a sample of Greek adult men and women, (b) to explore the associations between these factors with several socio-economic, lifestyle and psychological characteristics, and (c) to evaluate the prognostic significance of these factors on the incidence of CVD through periodic follow-up examinations of the participants at 5 and 10 years.
