- Approach
- Retrospective
- Procedures
- Harmonized data was generated by a combination of a central harmonization team (3D, AOF, CHILD) and locally by studies (EDEN, MoBa).
- Infrastructure
- Harmonized data had to remain on study servers, but federated data analysis could be achieved.
- Participant Inclusion
- All study participants were eligible for inclusion.

Information Content
The STRESS harmonization protocol included variables covering the pregnancy and delivery period. Studies had to have recruited women during pregnancy, have collected information about stress or anxiety during pregnancy using a standardized questionnaire and information on gestational age at birth. Data sources included questionnaires and medical records.
The harmonized dataset covers information on:
- Mothers' sociodemographic and economic information
- Mother's reproductive health history
- Mothers' diseases
- Mothers' prenatal stress and anxiety
- Pregnancy complications
- Pregnancy, delivery, and birth outcomes
- Administrative information

Scroll over each status icon to get more details on the corresponding harmonization results:
- Complete - study-specific variable is the same as DataSchema variable (status detail = identical) or needs transformation to generate DataSchema variable (status detail = compatible) or unknown (status detail = unknown)
- Partial - categorical study-specific variable (status detail = proximate) or other types (status detail = tentative) could generate DataSchema variable but with loss of information or unknown (status detail = unknown)
- Impossible - study does not collect DataSchema variable (status detail = unavailable) or cannot be used to generate DataSchema variable (status detail = incompatible) or unknown (status detail = unknown)
- Not Applicable - harmonization status is not relevant
- Undetermined - harmonization status not determined
